Traveling doesn’t just mean seeing a place; traveling means engaging with cultures different from our own, understanding their ways of thinking and habits. Traveling means expanding one’s horizons: this is the spirit of the MOVE 2023 project. Thanks to fundings from Regione Veneto, our institute has been able to offer us and 23 other students (selected through an internal process) the opportunity for a study trip to the United States, to Chicago, where for two weeks we will live with host families and attend language and culture classes at a school. This opportunity will not only enhance our knowledge of the English language but also introduce us to a  different working environment as we will also have the chance to visit some local factories. Additionally, as a preparatory path for the study trip, the school has organized classes at the institute to better prepare students for this unforgettable experience. The entire project will conclude with a First language certification exam. Speaking on behalf of all the students involved in the project, we are extremely grateful to Regione Veneto, the school and our partners, Dallan, Stiga, Steelco, Stevanato group, Chiggiato spa and Castelfranco town hall, for giving us the opportunity to experience such a unique journey.
